So when I discovered these jewels I thought "wow, wish I could get ahold of some of those!" Then I found some, and I don't see as much interest as I had expected. To me a rooster that crows and carries one single call for 15 seconds is an awesome sight to behold. Does that impress you?
I want to take a poll and see what the general consensus is on these wonderful birds!

I heard they are rough on chicks and cannibalistic, but I have found that not to be the case at all, and in fact my hens are really gentle with the chicks and are awesome layers of nice sized white or cream eggs.

They are not the best looking birds on the planet but they are way prettier than Dorkings and Cochins in my book. In fact some are quite gamey-looking.

So what do you think of them?

I was immediately intrigued by them when I first saw them.... but you certainly would want to live in the middle of nowhere to have them! LOL

Someday I would like to get one

i like them, I love to hear roosters crow. and one that can crow for really long. ( i believe.. the longest long crower i found was 35 seconds?) is great, I told my dad "Im going to get some of these " dad "No. your not" me "Yeah. and im gonna find away to make them bantams. then their gonna crow for about 10 seconds. and have that real high pitched squeaky voice :}"

I looked them up on Youtube. That is unbelievable!
and way to funny, but I think that would get on my nerves. One of them sounded like fingernails on a chalk board.

Personally I prefer the Tomaru for tone and pitch but they are all impressive. I do live in the middle of nowhere so who knows I may end up with some one day

The Tomaru do have better tone than the Denizli, but my Denizli are usually the longest crowers of the two. I love my Tomaru, though.
pics per request:
not hard to get a picture of one in mid-crow

I really like you're birds but cannot be too interested in any of them because of the place that I live,,,,,,,now if I lived 'out' farther that would be a different story.
