Need help sexing 9 week BLRW and 7 week old Olive Egger

Pullet- seems docile and sweet. At over 4 months old you should have already seen some rooster signs. Not even a small challenge? That big and bottome of the pack? Those beautiful girly eyes? Yep, pullet. Great frizzling effect with the colors too!

Drum roll . . . . . . . . . .

Its a Boy!!! My BF woke me up at 5 am this morning saying he heard a weird noise outside, kind of like a woman screaming. I hopped out of bed and ran barefoot to the coop. Well sure enough these were Bubba's first crowing attempts. I sure hope he gets to his rooster business soon so I can hatch some of his babies before I have to find him a new home.

Thanks for all the input everyone! 20 weeks and we finally have our answer :)

The mystery is solved!!! To keep from disturbing the neighbors (and ourselves) we kept our cockerel in a dark garage overnight and put him out during the day until we found a home for him. I wasn't too worried about the few daytime crows, but the 4:30 am crowing was a bit hard to take.

Since it's taken Bubba this long to crow, it may take a while before he starts noticing girls. Late bloomer.
