So new my chicks aren't even here - placed an order at Agway last week.

0. Will start with 9.
(3) What breeds do you have?
We've ordered 6 buff Orpingtons and 6 golden laced Wyandottes - our neighbor gets 3.
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
Have search engine... Well, my neighbor also used to subscribe to the magazine.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Thinking about playing with yarn and other crafts. Leading a Girl Scout troop.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Have always thought having chickens would be neat. Went to Chick Days at the local Agways for several years in a row, scared to make the commitment. Realized my kid is old enough to not kill with love, and that hey, our pair of rabbits have managed to survive their 3rd winter with us, so maybe I can do this...
