I am a newbie to BYC but am enjoying the reading. Thought I would through out some photos of our BYC operation. We have had 5 ladies in the old coop/run for the last six months. But, wanted to grow to 8 or 9 birds total this year. To do that we needed to build a new palace for the ladies. Here is some photos of the work so far. It is a design and build idea of mine. It is 8' x 8' with a coop area of 4' x 8' so plenty of room for 8 or 9 full grown birds. We let them free range in the yard when it is green, in the winter months we give them alfalfa hay. Enjoy the photos. Feel free to give me ideas on what might work better for us.
