IDEAL POULTRY - Bantam Cochins *April 17 HAWAII

THEY ARRIVED! Sorry for the late update, but the chicks arrived on April 18th. They hatched a day early, and took 2 days to get here. The postage on the box said Priority Mail, but maybe the postal workers knew they were chicks so they rushed it through. I was really surprised when I got the call on the 18th. I had to rush home to get the brooder light turned on and food/water set up before I went to get them. One died during travel, and another died 2 days ago(lost one Gold-Laced and one Mottled).

Love your photos/videos!!! Here are a few photos and a video of my new babies:

they are adorable. next spring i'm hoping to get an adult cochin hen, blue or black to breed with blue and red cochin rooster.

I want to order silkies some time in the near future, is there any paper work I need to receive chicks/eggs in Hawaii or is all the paper work on the hatcheries end?

so sorry for the extremely late reply. Theres no need to have papers prior to ordering. All hatcheries charge us a special box in fee which includes permits with the USDA. Just make sure you order at least 2 weeks in advance.
