I set 7 eggs and hatched 7 eggs...first attempt. I used the brinsea mini advanced, and it could not have been any easier. All 7 chicks are live and well, but I am wondering when I will be able to tell their gender. I would recommend the brindea mini to anyone who wants a hastle free process.

I'm expecting my first hatch this week using the brinsea mini advance also. How was your humidity with both wells filled?

I am setting my first hatch today in my Brinsea mini advance. So glad to hear a success story. I am not measuring humidity as I would be always freaking out. Just going to follow the directions and hope for the best. Did you use the cool down feature starting at day 7? I am going for 4 green eggs with an EE roo and 2 Barred Rock with same roo and 1 Gold Comet cause that is said roosters favorite. Hope the roo's mom was a green egg layer.

I planned to use the cool down feature, but forgot until 6 days before hatch....so I turned it on, and it obviously did not hurn anything.
