hi, im new to this site but thought you may be able to help me.
i bought 4 warren chickens last week, they are 10 months old. they live in a shed converted to a chicken house, we have perches for them and a old rabbit hutch which they all sleep in. we got told they would start laying within a couple of days but we still havnt got any eggs. help please

Chickens will stop laying in response to stress and moving them to a new home is definitely stressful. Give them a few weeks to settle in. Do you have nesting boxes set up?

Yup, it could take them up to a month to adjust to the new environment. Do they have a way to get outdoors during the day?

yes they have always have the door open so they can go in and out of there run and usually they get to roam free in the garden aswell, we have got a rabbit hutch in which they all sleep, we have also put some shelves up hoping they would use them but they dont seem to be. they do use the top of the rabbit hutch sometimes, should i post a pic of there housing area, we are first time chicken owners so any advice would be great, we also plan to extend there run.

here is a picture of a section of there housing area and of them enjoying the sun outside. any advice on how to make there living area better or what to add to it in order to make them feel better and lay would be great :)

The ones on the wall.... You might want to put a piece of wood on the front to serve as a "lip" so the eggs dont roll out. Do they have roosts to sleep on?
I agree about the stress of the move. It can take a few weeks or month for them to get adjusted. I'd put some apple cider vinegar in their water. It helps with stress.
