I own hens and one rooster, they have an approved coop on commercial property that is owned by the city, which i.have permission to do so. I live in apartments and recently got a lease violation because my hens had wandered onto the complex property. Chickens cannot be under control by humans and are capable of escaping their cage from time to time. Is my landlord in the right for issuing this violation? and threatening to have my chickens taken away?
