What's your favorite ethnic/regional style of food?

I like our food. southern cooking .. grits & fresh eggs. or day old corn bread dipped in butter milk, or collards & bbq beef ribs.... or. or it goes on & on

I LOVE Indian food, but I live on the Cape and the nearest Indian restaurant is 45 minutes away! The last time I had great Indian food was when I worked in New York. Sigh...
 
I love Chinese food but i would have to say, Native American food is my favorite. I am Cherokee and i am trying to learn recipies that are quick cheap and easy to make. I love fried bread and Deer meat. I love dear meat because i know Deers werent just raised to butcher, someone went out and hunted them and the meat is much leaner and healthier than most beef. And it taste so good! fried bread is easy to make: few cups of flour, cup o corn meal, water or a lil bit of butter milk untill it is kinda a pancake mix consistency you can add a little bit of canola oil and a pinch of salt and sugar. then grease a pan VERY well and fry it up with some deer or bass or what ever. its very flat like tortillas and it is baisicly the same thing. its kinda plain but if you eat it with deer it is very filling and compliments the flavor of the deer well.

I can make it fantastically myself but I need the proper ingredients, which can be hard to find.
