East of the Mississippi Egg Swap Chain

Since shipped eggs tend to do better the less distance traveled - this Swap Thread is for shipping eggs from "East of the Mississippi"

Pure breeds only of all poultry.

"Purebred" can include colored egg layers like OliveEggers for example. If not sure just ask. Just trying to avoid "Barnyard Mixes".

Offer should be a minimum 6 eggs with extras if possible.

DO NOT overextend yourself - ship within 2 weeks.
If a swapper fails to ship eggs within a 2 week time period they will be banned unless an agreed upon arrangement is made with the claimer. Things do happen - molting, predators, etc.

Swaps are not limited - at this time - as long as commitments are kept and there is no "hogging" - same person gets every other swap. Lets all play nice and take turns .

PayPal offers are great so those with no avail eggs can swap and it keeps chain moving along. PayPal offer should be at least $17.

You can also Swap PayPal to get eggs - you can claim eggs and offer for example $18 PP - someone will claim it and then offer more eggs or another PP etc. That way if someone does not have eggs to offer they can still get eggs and keeps the chain going

Typically the person sending pays shipping on a swap chain. So you would send your address to the person who's item you claim & they pay everything to ship to you & then whoever claims your item will send their address to you & you pay to ship to them.
