This chick is almost 5 weeks old...what do you think?

Umm...I'm not an expert by any stretch, but the chick appears to be a Barred Rock and a probable male to me.

Thanks. Yes, the breeder has adult Olive Eggers with this type of barring. This chick is not nearly as aggressive as our others who clearly seem to be little roosters. We are hoping for a pullet since it is so incredibly friendly and cuddly

Ok. Now the chick is 6 weeks.... still a girl? How long would you give until to determine with certainty?

I now have to do my final culling....still a girl? She is almost 8 weeks.....
She's a she. Pretty girl. Pale comb, skinny legs, and no cascading rump feathers. Enjoy her.
