Prayers needed...update, she's gone. - Page 3

I'm pretty concerned right now. grandma developed a fever last night. They had her back on the ventilator yesterday because she had fluid in her lungs. I guess they're going to try to take her off of it again. She's also not fully awake. If the nurses rouse her she'll sqeeze their hand and will follow directions to move her limbs. There may be some short term neurological damage as she can't move her right arm, though it's believed there was no stroke during the surgery as she's not slack on the right side of her face and can still move the right leg.
Now instead of a 10 day stay they're talking about her being in the hospital at least 4 weeks. It seems everytime I get an update it's more bad news.
I really with this dratted cold would go to so I could at least go sit with her.

Now I am more than a little worried. My grandmother is not responsive to anyone. Since her high fever on Saturday they've had her on some very strong antibiotics which may be the reason she won't wake up. They haven't taken her off the ventilator as they're waiting for her to be awake to do so.  I will get to visit her on Thursday AM, though I am worried to actually see her, dad says she looks terrible. I just strongly feel the urge to go hold her hand.
I will be starting to sleep back at the farm Sunday's thru Thursday's to help care for my grandfather.... I will be one well rested individual as bedtime is 9pm.. no matter how old you are!

My grandmother passed away last night. I'm so sad, especially for my grandfather but it's also a blessing. They had removed her feeding tube on the 23rd, it's been difficult to watch her weaken.
Thank you all for the prayers & positive thoughts, it's much appreciated.
