chickens in the rain

I do the same thing with my silkies! All of my chickens are either silkies or silkie mixes so they need some special attention.. i towel dry them then I blow dry the ones that need it. All my fluffy silkies need blow-dried when it's cold and rainy. Anyone else have experience with silkies in the cold, rainy weather season?
Does anyone ever dry their hens off? I have a bantam frizzled Cochin who has masses of feathers right down to her toes and when it rains she gets absolutely drenched and totally muddy. I don't worry at all about the other girls but I always end up giving her a quick rinse and blow dry (she loves it!). Am I crazy??

I have 8 hens that are only 6 months old it’s 63 degrees here but I was worried about rain because they are not full maturity yet
The run has a small part covered by a tarp hopefully they will be smart enough to figure it out lol merry Christmas chicken lovers

I am new at owning chickens I think I spoiled the. They got fussy on me not interested in tomatoes used to eat apple love raisins but get fussy with cranberries my husband can’t believe the breakfast buffet I prep for them he says they eat better than him lol can’t believe how much I enjoy them that I don’t even care if they don’t lay eggs lol
