Johndale I just wanted to drop by and say howdy.
I am your neighbor in Mississippi. Well, neighbor might be a bit of an exaggeration (like 3 hrs away neighbor). Love the Strawberry Festival. I missed the last two years but hope to make the next one.
Ponchatoula is a great town with wonderful shops.
 
Johndale,I moved from Ponchatoula 2 years ago. I live in Tn. now but i still have family there and Loranger.Don't think i'll ever move back,but i do visit twice a year
 
yeah strawberry festibal is fun we raise strawberries so we go every year, tn.lou maybe when you visit i could buy some eggs or chicks from you

Hi Johndale. I am also from Ponchatoula. To my knowledge, we are the only two people from Ponchatoula on here. If you look up the following thread, then you will find lots of members from all over LA.

Also, we are going to have a Louisiana Chickenstock on Sept. 13th. If you are interested in attending, then you are more than welcome. There is also a thread for it as well.

As for the Strawberry Festival, I avoid town whenever it is going on....lol I have lived in Ponchatoula for 17 years and I have attended in the past, but now I stay away from the madness...lol
