These will get about 6 inches long, Maybe a lil over a inch wide,Not your store bought variety! After these nana's get ripe, The stalk will die back and already there is a two foot banana tree growing out cause it knows the nana producing stalk tree will die. I have a huge nana tree thats prob 15 ft high. It started to put out nana's last summer but I quickly cut them off because I wanted it to continue living since its my tallest banana tree.
 
I know a really good use for overripe bananas that are so brown inside that they're unappetizing........ banana ice cream, yum!
