What is the friendliest bantam breed?

Brahma bantams, perhaps? Temperament wise I thought they were comparable to the sweet little Cochins, with the added benefit of small combs for the winter. I've never personally owned them, but I've loved the ones I've met.

Another vote for cochins here. The ones I had/have are very people orientated and mellow, except they have enough banty blood in them to stand up for themselves if the bigger chickens try bothering them.

A few weeks back, my mixed laying girls went outside and got mixed in with my Jumbo cornish crosses. The big boys wanted nothing to do with the the older girls until they seen my little cochin banty, one of them thought "yeah I can that that one" She flew up into his face and put him into line right away. Pretty funny coming from such a mellow girl.

SEBRIGHTS, Would have to be my answer. This Colonel Butler:

He likes the top of my hat, doesn't mind being held, and is a real chow hound... don't get around him with a glass of anything, he'll be sitting on the rim of it looking in before you realse what's going on.

I have standard size cochins but let me tell you they laid all winter even though an ice storm.
