Question about feeding chicks?

My laying chicks are 6 weeks old and I was wondering what is the recommended amount of feed I should be giving them?

I am new to this so I hope I am asking my question in the right place: I have chicks that are almost 4 weeks old. I have them in the garage under a red light. Can I leave them by themselves for 2 days? If I make sure the bedding is clean and give them fresh water and food before I eave?

Welcome to BYC.
In theory you can leave them for two days, with enough food and water. But I always worry while running that heat lamp.
