I went out to check on my 13 week old turkeys today and one of them has some broken blood feathers on his wing.
They stopped bleeding I tried pulling one out but its to moist and just keeps breaking. Everyone else is kinda picking on him making the bleeding start again. I did bandage his wing to help cover it so if they do get pecked at it wont cause any problems.
What should I do now? I have seen a few older looking ones they just have the little hollow shaft sticking out of the skin and it looks like they might be growing new feathers. Should I just leave him alone or try to keep pulling them out. Also I think he is close to molting dont know if that will help any answers thanks again
