These are from purebred stock, mixed to bring in the lemon/cream gene and the dun gene into my d'uccles. The chicks have all been coming out lemon or dun or both. Here's some examples. Also, someone has been throwing the paint gene, haven't found the guilty party yet, but could be in the mix. Purebred Paint Silkies are very possible, as in this picture of my newest hatch.
