I am new to incubating turkeys. Actually I only had 1 hatch out of three. I have another incubator ready to hatch in a week with about 30 eggs but I'm thinking I did something wrong:( My one hatchling was 2 days late (hatched on day 30) and he has been laying on the floor of my incubator since. He is breathing and he looks at me when I talk to him but hasn't moved. I am very concerned especially with my others due on Sunday. Are they like this or is something wrong with poor little Hubert?

Can you put a small mirror in there with him? That helped one time with a chick I had to separate from the rest and raise inside. The chick would snuggle up to the mirror to sleep. You might also put the food on some aluminum foil to encourage pecking at it and put shiny things or marbles in the water. Good luck!

Thanks for the advice I'll try anything. Heard about the marbles in the water but didn't think of foil
