My chickens keep on dying :( One after another

Pics
I have a small flock experiencing the same issues. I have been treating for coccidosis with corid for a week or so with little improvement. From a 50 bird flock I have lost 8 and gotten about 2% egg yield over the last 2 weeks. I can recover from the eggs, but I can't keep losing birds. Any update on this thread? Did it turn out to be coccidosis? Did corid help?

Can you start a new thread? This one is 12 pages long and very old.
You need to describe what's happening with your birds.
Photos of the chickens, their housing, poop, etc. are sometimes helpful.
Tell us what you feed, what course of treatment you have tried (product and dosing), how old the birds are, how long have you had them.
Try to be specific with symptoms as well.
At the top of the forums you will see "Post a New Thread", click on that so you can have your own thread and suggestions made for you.

I did, it apparently it didn't take. I will try again.

Thank you for replying. I have questioned before whether or not they're getting proper nutrition. The food we buy them is extremely expensive. If it were to be sour crop, what kind of changes in their diet could I make? I'm just really worried that it's a horrible disease. If I had the money, I would have a biopsy done on one of our chickens. I'm just not sure what I should do :(
I think you really need to send the next chicken that dies into have a necropsy done. That is the only way you will find out what is going on, otherwise it sounds like you will continue to lose chickens. That does not sound right that they will pick things out of their poop to eat. My chickens will not touch anything that hits their poop, so I think that sounds very peculiar that yours will eat their own poop.

I see it! I'll link it below as well so others can find it. We aren't always on, so it make take a few hours to get some replies.
