Hi and welcome to BYC from northern Michigan big_smile.png

Guineas are great to keep ticks down

Home of the world's cutest dachshund, one crazy blue heeler, two cats,
one fat pony, and many (but not too many!) chickens

Can anyone tell me, how many are too many chickens?

Welcome to BYC!! Be sure to check out the Cheesehead Thread!! All things chickens from fellow Cheeseheads!!!

Wife and Mother of 4 (ages 14 to 3)  we have 2 labs, I ride Paint horses, work in the veterinary industry and our flock consists of:  3 speckled sussex, 2 buff opingtons, 2 Delaware and 1 black orpington.

I love to garden and have tons of veggies that I can and freeze.  Hubby "tolerates" my chicken habbit :-) ..kids find the chickens very cool and like eating the vegetables heaps better...

This is the stuff that drives me crazy

This is the stuff that's getting to me lately

In the middle of my little mess

I forget how big I'm blessed

This is the stuff that gets under my skin

But I gotta trust you know exactly what you're doin'

It might not be what I would choose

But this is the stuff you use

What chickens did you decide on. Still researching or have you taken the plunge? Just wondering - Smiles  :)
