Considered it but call me selfish lol I love all the dainty little blooms covering my lawn! That and the recipe I dug up calls for 3 tightly packed cups of blooms. Thats a lot of gathering the tiny things!

Well I had a very busy Sunday canning!

I made some Dilly Beans, which I've never had before... so I better like them making so many!

I also made, blueberry jam, strawberry/blueberry jam, Triple berry jam (blueberry, strawberry and raspberry), blueberry lime jam and honeysuckle jelly. Lets say I was sweating like a pig since it was like 96 degrees out the whole day I had to do this.

I did pick a bunch of banana peppers today, so I think I will pickle those with some hot peppers for sandwiches... otherwise I'll grill a pile of them and add them to my BBQ sauce for some pulled chicken bbq sandwiches. Mmmm

Ok, just made myself hunger, Hehehehe!

you can use the whole thing just make sure not to lock the lid and to make sure there is something in the bottom so the jars aren't in direct contact with the pot.  Some people use a dish towel.

Hehe.........I tell the hubby that berries and other produce do not care what the temp is outside. I canned up jam while it was in the nineties last week, too. : )
