I make nectarine jam - 1 to 1 fruit to sugar and cook to gelling point. I prefer mine a hair under gelling so it's a little loose. It's great over pancakes or French toast.

If you have raspberries, you can make peach Melba or nectarine Melba.

Breeding Welsummers and Barnevelders.

Having an Icelandic in the coop is like having a 2 year old in the house - they are into everything and don't follow the rules.

I have zero chicken willpower.

Hey guys,

Does anyone have a stellar baked beans recipe? The one that is like bush's baked beans. I really want to can my own, and have some (well a lot) of bacon ends that could be used in this application. I wanted a tried and true recipe tho :)

Thanks!

Planning a huge canning day. Heres to hopin'!
