I live in Albion, NY, half way between Rochester and Buffalo, just North of Batavia. Does anyone have information on anyone in the area that will process chickens.

I had the same problem a couple of years ago. Called about six or seven butcher shops. A couple of them gave me the name and number of a guy in Attica. Did a good job. If he still does it, he only processes through September and you have to make an appointment.
I can PM you the info if you like. I just don't like posting personal info without permission.
You can also ask around if anybody knows any Amish near you. Alot of the Amish families around me do meat/poultry processing for "English" to make a little extra money.

Your like a half hour from me lol

Thank you. I have information on the guy in Attica, I was hoping for someone a little closer to home. We do have an Amish community near by I think I will look into that.

Asking around is a good idea. I just found out that there's someone 5 minutes from me that will do it. All this time we've been driving over an hour to Attica. You could also try putting an add up at your local feed store. Or just ask the employees. I'll bet they know somebody. That's how I found out.
Pandapaws23, where are you? Half an hour is a big area.

Hi - we are in Colden, ended up with a bunch of roosters this year and really don't need them. Can I get the info on the person in Attica, or any Amish contacts? Thx!

Hi everyone!! Sorry to reopen your old post, but I’m myself looking for someone in WNY for processing meat birds. I’m located in Elma, but happy to travel. If anyone still knows of any locals I’d really appreciate the referral! I’d ask the local fed store, but with everything shut down its weird times right now. Thanks! 🙏🏻 ☺️
