Waterer pictures please!

i think m brother used the wrong bit because it was so tough to put them in so that might be the reason. grrr. but will a shallow socket hold the nipple good enough to no strip it out. seems like the sockets we were looking at were too shallow or too deep. tried stuffing the deep onewith cardboard, kinda worked on holding it but cardboard isnt that good for applying pressure, and 32 oz gatorade bottles that hold up fine. should i just find some thinner pvcp?

I have been trying everything with nipddplers lately. I have come to the conclusion there are just messy. When I finally got them to work they drip a little, but when they drink excess water goes everywhere. Plastic bottles work well at first, but after they are 1/2 emptied they get air locked. I made a small air hole by heating a needle and stabbing it thru. This fixed the air lock, but now seems to dispense to much water and make a wet sloppy mess. I have done a little research and it seems to get them to function the best you need to control the pressure. Most recommend 1-3 psi. I have not done this. I do not think I will ever get them working well enough to use inside my wood floor coop. So I plan to use them off a rain barrel in my runs and use the standard $25 5gallon waterer inside the coop. Best of luck and please let me know if you find a setup you are pleased with.

I have have the nipples in a 5 gallon and they don't drip no lid.and my power are bottles go with no drip. I drilled a hole on each side of the bottles so I could hang the from fishing line. Worked so,far. That pip just may be too thick for the nipple to catch to thread in
