Duck eggs vs. Chicken eggs

Hi guys!

I'm incubating two call duck eggs for the very first time, and I've gotten tons of great info here but the hatching threads seem to be all for chickens. Do duck eggs require different settings than chicken eggs in order to have a successful hatch?

I think so.  I am not a hatcher, but two resources are the sticky on waterfowl incubation, and the Thread Formerly Known as Hatch Day is Today.

Please consider adopting rescued ducks.

People often ask if they should "put down" a bird that has suffered major injuries.  In my experience, birds appreciate the opportunity to recover.  Ducks have an amazing ability to heal, even from injuries that appear to be catastrophic.
