Western PA?

My mother in law & I decided we wanted to an urban homestead at her house in Pittsburgh, PA...which we want to include chickens. Anyone know or have experience with a certain breed that handles Pennsylvanis temperatures well? I was looking at trying the Easter Eggers and maybe California Greys.

Most popular chickens breeds are pretty tolerant of heat and cold.   Summer heat is actually more dangerous to chicken health. I wasn't familiar with the California Grey so I looked it up:
