We found one of our newly-hatched BCM chicks flat on its little back this afternoon. It couldn't change position and clearly had no energy at all. We happened to have some Sav-A-Chick on hand, so we mixed up a batch and have been giving it to the chick in drops. It seems to almost be arching its back when I try to hold it upright. The other five chicks are seemingly fine, but we've given them the Sav-A-Chick as well just to be on the safe side. We've separated the sick one and have tried feeding it some yogurt, but can't imagine what's wrong with it. It did have some trouble hatching and needed a little assistance, so perhaps it wasn't fully ready to come out when it pipped? Any thoughts?
