here is a short verision. we had 2 eggs under a broody hen but she developed wry neck and cracked one. part of the shell came off but the membrane was still intact. yesterday the membrane ripped and we put it in a incubator. we can see the chick but now there is some sort of yellow mold growing on the outside of the membrane. it smells real bad. the other egg (still under the hen) hatched today.
any ideas????
