We have a premature chick due to a cracked egg. Should it be kept in an incubator or put into a brooder. Either way it is by itself. We do have a broody hen with one new chick under her, but the hen has wry neck. Any advice. It looks so small and it is not very good on its feet at all. It completely hatched at 4 or 5pm today. Thanks so much.
 
How premature is it? I would say leave it in the incubator for a while and feed it hard boiled egg mashed up
 
It was only 1 day premature. We had to help it hatch b/c since it had cracked some bacteria started to grow on the egg and we knew if we'd left it it would have died that way. We took it out of the incubator, should we put it back in?

Also some of the fluff on its back is not fluffed out due to stuff from the egg, should we clean it off?
