Survivor Chicken Island Version- Search for the Okapi (ACCEPTING)

What does the Contest stand for??!- Survivor Chicken Island Version. The 'Survivor' part is taken from the popular TV show, Survivor. This is also loosely based on the same show.

So, What is an Okapi?- The Okapi is ' a giraffid artiodactyl mammal native to the Ituri Rainforest' as taken from Wikipedia, although that makes no sense to me at all... There is a picture above.

When will this contest start?- Once we have 2 teams of 10 people, and will end Approx. 1 month later.

How do you play?- There will be trivia questions approximately every 2-3 days at a certain time. That time and date will be announced at least one day prior to the event. In a post below, I will post a series of 3, 5, or 7 trivia questions. Some may be educational, some may be about chickens, some may just be about BYC, and some just plain fun. Each team will have 2 hours after I post the questions to PM their answers to me. ANY posted answers will NOT be counted! Whichever team gets the most/all the questions right first will be safe from elimination.

What is Elimination?- Elimination is only applied to the losing team. Any of their members is prone to being eliminated. As soon as the winning team is announced, ANY person on BYC can vote who they want to be eliminated off of the losing team. Whichever person gets the most votes will be eliminated and no longer allowed to answer. You must PM your elimination request to me, and the person eliminated will be announced just prior to the next series of trivia questions is announced.

The Two Teams
The two teams will each have a team leader, with their task being to inform the other members of their team when the next series of trivia is. They are also eligible to answer questions, along with the other 9 members of each team. Since an Okapi looks one-part giraffe and one-part zebra, they will be the two teams!
