Hello, I am looking to do an egg trade with a breeder of purebred Black Copper Marans in order to add some genetic diversity to my closed flock. I have sourced my line from Cottage Hill and Nelly over at The Fancy Chick who sourced from Wade Jean and Bev Davis. I breed to APA standards and for dark color and my eggs routinely run a 7+ on the Marans scale. Attached are a photo of my eggs and my hens. Looking to trade up to several dozen eggs but egg darkness is more important to me than volume. Both and the tradee would be responsible for our own shipping to the other person. I am at zip 20639.
