Sounds like a plan to me!
I'm in Alexandria. Do not have anything to trade at present though.

10 laying hens, 7 Welsummer chicks, 6 Cuckoo Marans chicks, 7 peacocks, 3 guineas, 3 dogs, 2 "official" cats & 2 more who just showed up & stayed, 1 green parakeet & 1 retired-but-stays-busy husband!

I'm not a breeder yet but if i keep getting chickens i may as well be. My kids show in 4H. We had a show in Alexandria a couple of months ago. I baught some chickens from a lady in Drycreek a couple of weeks ago. We do need to get together and form a club. They have the north LA poultry club, why can't we have central LA

I need a Belgium Quail Rooster and a few more Rhode Island hens. I have eggs eggs and more eggs. smile

ok i know this is old but there is a thread over on the sweep/meet part of the forum about starting a central la poultry club if anyone looks at this and is interested please make your way to the thread thats going on thank you...
