Idaho?

Hello Everyone, I have a 16 week old Black Copper Marans rooster from a local breeder in urgent need of a loving home, He is a very sweet boy, Great with kids, He would be a great project rooster to make Olive egger chicks or purebred BCM chicks. We've been posting on Facebook and no one has taken him, I really want him to have a home with his own hens, I really dont want him to have to be butchered! We are located in Meridian ID.

HooDoo Mountain, Bonner County!
After decades of raising various breeds, we’ve carefully bred a landrace of brown egg layers that winter, forage, brood and produce well here in North Idaho. These include Australorp, Orpingtons, RI Reds, Barred Rocks, Delawares, Marans, New Hampshire and Sussex breeds.

Our hens have averaged 5 eggs a week, even in the week of TEN+ BELOW in January of 2024. No heated coop. No medications. No GMOs. Free, organic ranged birds. Fed freshly grown sprouts (peas, wheat, etc) daily. They take turns at going broody, making for a sustainable flock.
