No comb to speak of, no waddle. Big flourishy tail..... Absolutely no crowing or noise.

Any thoughts?
 
Absolutely, 100%, cockerel. Whether he crows or not. That tail is 100% male, as is the red coming in on his wings and the white patches on the wings.
 
Darn! I've had bad luck with my "sexed" chicks. So far just 75% are hens, but now I'm not confident.

If you bought from a hatchery, get your money back on the cockerels. They all guarantee at least 90% success in sexing, and will refund money on anything over 10% cockerels. If you bought from a feed store, I'd go talk to them and try to get your money back as well.
 
I got them from the Ace Hardware and they guarantee 100% female, even though they say that the hatchery only guarantees 98% female. They tell me that they'll give me free chicks. I am probably about at my personal limit for hens right now. I have 7 (minus the cockreal) and I have 7 x 5 day olds. :)
