My Crop Tube Feeding Journey With My Bird (Pics For Visuals- VERY detailed Post)

Great information here, thank you to the OP and everyone adding to this wealth of info. My vet told me to stick to just syringing as crop feeding is dangerous and has really put me off trying but you all gave me more confidence. One question though - which is safer, tube or crop needle? I gave guinea fowl if that makes any difference. TIA

For a guinea I would a 16" size 18 french tube because most crop needles are too short and too narrow. If too short a tube of needle is used it will not reach the crop and will increase the risk of aspiration.
