4.4 pounds = 1.995 kg = 1995 grams (round up to 2000 grams)
2% of 2000 grams = 40 ml
3% of 2000 grams = 60 ml
5% of 2000 grams = 100 ml
I would start with 40 ml & increase to 100 ml.

Yes, but give it with distilled water because the calcium in tab water can bind with the enrofloxacin.

Fluids do help a lot. You can add some corn syrup too, that does help.Thank you! Hopefully she perks up after some hydrating
So i was successful when I did it on my lap, alone (not very easy), but when I had my hubby hold her, I was having trouble handling the syringe after i got the tube in. I was securing head and neck With my left hand, then advancing tube with right.. but I couldn't get to the syringe fast enough before the tube starting coming out. Any tips?
After watching more videos, we were able to give her more fluids last night. About 100ml for the day total.
She's not eating anything except for live mealworms. Should I continue to let her eat that? I'm planning to incorporate some kaytee baby bird food into the tube feed today @casportpony
