Regulating brooder temp

Ok, so i found the problem, fixed it, and POOF!! another one appears.

Problem: my thermometer was sitting upright, shading the temperature reader.

Solution: put the thermometer on its face and only pick it up when i read it.

New problem: my thermometer now reads 120 degrees.

i hope i sort this all out in time for the peeps.

Not a problem, just a wrong set up, really. 6 inches from the floor is way too close and a fire hazard. Put it up higher until your thermometer reads 90 when directly under the bulb or at most 95. And read aart's tips.
