I've wanted to host a chickenstock for a couple years now, but have not had the space to do so. Well now that we have our farm and are somewhat settled I think I can start to actually plan for one.
I'm thinking sometime in July or early August of next year. While the main focus would be chickens I'd also like to include talks about backyard or small scale farming in general. I find that those interested in backyard chickens are also those interested in being more self sufficient overall and growing or raising their own food.
The closest "big" town is Dunkirk/Fredonia NY (about 20 minutes away). There are motels there and I have space where people could camp out if they wanted to.
Right now I just really want to know if anyone would be interested in coming. I don't want to put a lot of effort into planning this thing out if I don't have anyone interested in attending.
Let me know and feel free to give me ideas. I've never really planned anything like this before and could use all the help I can get.

I live in Sinclairville. So Dunkirk is about 15min away from me
