Lets talk about goats!

After reading more and watching some videos I'm almost positive its the worm. Thank you @cassie once again. Going to talk to vet tomorrow about it and see what he thinks. He should know how common it is in the area and if he'll do a steroid for swelling.

Just to see if my reasoning is correct. At the very beginning I thought polio right away but the only symptom is the back legs weakness and walking sideways. She's not depressed shes eating drinking and pooping fine. She's not having eyesight issues or aimlessly wandering. And she's not pressing her head against anything. Added to the fact that thiamine rx didnt help at all. So probably not polio right? And it's been a bit now and she's not getting worse.
I agree that it doesn't sound like polio. It does sound a bit like meningeal worm but I don't know much about that. Where I am from that was not an issue. Please post after you hear what the vet has to say. I would really like to know what it is.

Talked to vet today and we do have issues with m-worm around here. Thank you again. I'm bringing her in today for steroid. Hoping we caught it in time but I'm kinda worried we didnt. Heading out now to see how she's doing. Apparently it will probably get worse as the worm load dies. I never would have even thought about a different kind of worm. Thank you.

just goat our goats a few days ago, got 4 females and 1 weather, there mostly pets with some weed control.
