Yeah, for real.  You watch all the stuff I want to watch, too.  big_smile  (add in the National Geographic Channel and the Science Channel!).

Cable a la carte would be the best idea ever.  I don't understand why cable companies can't pull that off...

Just for the record, Comcast customer service is the WORST EVER.  Never get cable with Comcast.  tongue

I sure hate Time Warner Cable and changed to DirecTV years and years ago, and I love it  But this year I've had to suspend my service due to economic reasons and I do miss several of the shows I watched regularly.  But...I've adjusted.  A lot of the shows, or parts of them, are on the web now so that helps a little.

We have dishnetwork also, we pay an extra 1.99 a month to get RFDTV.  DH loves it and I enjoy some of the shows when there is nothing on the regular channels.

We love our satelite DirectTV and paid $60 a month and only select channels that we want to watch and my daughter gets her noggin, toons and PBS stuff.

Yep,  I had alot of folks complaining about Comcast...its worst than Insight which Comcast bought them out last year.....it was the pits!

We have the AT&T Dish Network/Home Phone/DSL package.  I've been happy with it
all.  There are plenty of kids/Discovery/animals/science channels so there is always
something worth watching on.

I'm very pleased with it and our rate.

I grew up without cable because my father wouldn't get it.  I have no use for network
or local channels so without cable/satelite i wouldn't need a tv.

For us its been 5 years and counting with out satllite or cable, and most of the time we don't even get the bunny ears channels, we did buy one of those things that go on the roof but with all the bad things happening on the news and such we just decided we didn't need to watch tv so we just to DVDs and VHS and yes we have alot of VHS so we never run out of things to watch. and their all the good oldies and westerns (lots of them western) and all the good long disney movies. For those rainy days. But for the most part of our time me and the 3yr read and draw and do housework togather and take nature walks and of course play with our chickens!

we have no little ones at home and when the grandkids are here they are outside playing or if its yukky outside then I put a disney movie in.
But if I got rid of cable DH would have Military Channel withdrawals I swear. And I am addicted to the food channel. So I'll keep my remote, but the price is rediculous. $125.00 for phone cable and internet. And explain to me why its more if I don't have HBO
