EVERYTHING you need to get started and have your own little backyard flock!
LOCAL Pick Up ONLY.
LOCAL Pick Up ONLY.
Four established layers, fed all organic/soy free/non GMO layer feed from hatching to current, free range...very healthy layers that will give you the highest quality fresh eggs for your family. They are domesticated and held, so they are all friendly and can be held by your children.
Partridge Rock "Katherine", Barred Rock "Maria", Golden Laced Wyandotte "Missy" & an Easter Egger "Illaine".
Coop has 3 nesting boxes that are easily accessible from the outside and sits atop a 16" high under area where the hens can rest. (Coop image is older and the coop is painted green now, set up is different in our yard now too). Automatic door opener/closer and timer that you can set to open and close at times convenient for your family. "A" framed 1"x2" harware cloth run attaches to coop that provides protection from weather and prey with removable roosting sticks. Metal frame covered with bird block and shade cloth, to place over for protection from weather and birds of prey.
Hanging Feeder holds up to 3# of feed. Two home-made nipple waterers. Two home-made pipe troughs for oyster shell/grit.
One broody/injury cage...just in case...the Partridge Rock goes broody in the springtime.
Feed, scratch, oyster shell calcium, and their meal worms treat.
We hate to let our "gurlz" go but we need to find them a nice home where they can be cared for as well as we have cared for them. Please understand that we are very fond of them and are very picky where they will go.
The hens & amenities are a package and will not be separated.
We will help you get everything moved and set up, and answer any questions you may have...especially if you are new to raising a backyard flock.
If you are interested in being considered to take over caring for our "gurlz" and can offer them an adequate area to free range in...send me your address and a little about why you would want them; please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.
Thank you!
