silkie x ?

Not to pound these crossbreeds into the ground, but I do have more questions -- hope that's okay!
My original comments in black regular, Kev in blue bold, me again in black bold.

Cream Legbar x ? pullet:
Cream Legbar because he's the only rooster other than Silkies.
Maybe from brownish Easter Egger hen from sort-of similar coloration and neck hackles, but no muffs or beard.
Don't see any hint of barring. Legbar are pure for barring so 100% of their offspring would show barring. would suspect silkie father or sussex roo(is he a possible cross? if so he may be father of the EE above) from below as the father over something crested. Color of legs and what's the comb type?
Legs yellow, comb straight. Can Silkie characteristics really be erased so completely?
Sussex roo was half Sussex, half something that gave him some gold in the hackles and saddle.

Cream Legbar? x Polish pullet:
Cream Legbar because of lack of Silkie skin pigmentation and extra toes.
Polish because of general shape and white coloration with slight black leakage (apparently hallmarks of the buff-laced Polish's dominant white coloration).
These pullets also have the slimmer shape of the Polish hen.
Yep. Legbar bufflace crosses. Barring also represses skin pigmentation- don't be too quick to assume not silkie parent if bird is barred and has light skin. For example- barred bird with normal skin but has extra toe and some leg feathering, probably legbar over silkie. I guess this won't happen in your case- no legbar hen? but you have BR pullets growing up.....

Actually I do have a Cream Legbar hen. When I collected eggs I thought she wasn't laying yet -- but learned later that she lays a brown egg, and some of hers were in the incubator.
The Barred Rock babies are from a friend.

Cream Legbar x ? cockerel:
Cream Legbar from the barring. (Only barred rooster.)
Possibly from Coronation Sussex hen? Total guess.
This cockerel is bigger than the Cream Legbar x Polish crosses.
Good guess, however he has clean yellow legs. Sussex have white legs. White legs is dominant over yellow(actually white skin is dominant over yellow skin but also trying to keep it simple).
So we have mostly white coloring, crest, barring, black on neck and tail, straight comb, yellow legs . . . does that mean Cream Legbar x yellow-legged hen? Or white Silkie x Cream Legbar hen? Or "other"?

Thanks again!
