That is not a breed, its a hybrid of Green x Red Jungle Fowl


Beautiful though. I kind of wish the Green would've been domesticated years ago. I'd love to see where man could have taken them.

yaa,... very intresting,..

yesterday i ask to other farmer here about the price they say its ones of expensive chicken,...

the ayam bekisar is ones off exotique chicken,...

and some region government used the ayam bekisar as government logo,...

Ayam bekisar is a hybrid from male green junglefowl and domesticated hen or red junglefowl. Their crow sounds beautiful, we indonesians make a crowing competition for them, :)
