My hen hatched 2 eggs about 2 weeks ago. Sadly one of them was eaten.hit.gifI was wondering if you can add more chicks with the mother hen or will she reject them?

You can sneak them under the hen at night when she won't see them and peck at them, but you should check to see if she does accept them.

Chickens: 1 Sicilian Buttercup, 1 Blue Andalusian, 2 White Leghorn, and 2 little Seramas.

Finches: 3 zebra finches ( Curry, Avire, and Soapy).

Ferrets: Silvie and Blackie (also known as Booger).

RIP : Sugar, Puzzle, Yeller, and recently Butter who were taken away by a fox.

Soapy who died on 10/12/13 and Mellow who passed away on March 26, 2014.

When I fix my eyes on all that You are

Then every doubt I feel deep in my heart

Grows strangely dim

All my worries fade and fall to the ground

'Cause when I seek Your face and don't look around

Any place I'm in

Grows strangely dim

Do you mean that the hen ate them?

welcome-byc.gif Did the hen eat the other chick?  I think at two weeks past hatching, she isn't going to accept a new batch of chicks.  I would not  even attempt it.
