Pekin duck trying to mate with my chickens!!

Thread Starter
I have 2 pekin ducks about 18 weeks, male and female. They have started the mating behaviors, and the female has been laying eggs the last three days.
The male keeps grabbing my hens and trying to mount them as well! They aren't too thrilled about it, and I can't figure out how to get him to leave them alone!

Anybody else have this problem?

Separate them ASAP if he makes contact it's a death sentence for your hens. Ducks and chickens are not anatomically made to breed. He needs at least 2 more girls too

I had to rehome my pekin over the weekend, he was trying to mate with my chickens and it was brutal. I am so sad! Anyone know how I can get just one female pekin duckling?
