Hello! I'm a "New Egg" to Backyard Chickens, New to New Jersey & New to keeping chickens that are not free range. Any other Jersey members out there?

I am also new to chicken love in NJ I am in South Jersey and seem to be learning everything the hard way! I went to farm auction and bought my first chickies. However, I allowed my heart to rule my head and purchased a "lot" of 3, all different ages and only one was old enough to sex. of course, I ended up with one hen and 2 roosters. I adore my roosters they are very sweet but need to find a new home for at least one of them. I think this is going to be hard to do and I am so worried about finding him a good home

There are a few options to rehome Roo's. You can look for local chicken swaps/events, run a add on here in the buy/sell/trade section or run an add on craigslist in the free or farm & garden section. Best of luck
