The breeder i got them said some of the bloodline these have come from washington state. that is all he told me. his name is kenneth johnson raised pheasants and quail from yorba linda california. i have sold birds and eggs to him and i have purchased birds from him. they are about 2 yrs old they had no adult plummage intill late last summer they started. they are full color now, he said they will lay eggs this spring .very beautiful birds. I would even swap them for mountains or i will sell them. i would rather raise quail, miss raising mountains. so if you know any one interested. you can private message me. i would like to sell them to some one who will take care of them. I would like to have them gone by march so i can purchase mountains before breeding season
