While the US provided weapons to Iran in the 1980's, I doubt they provided chemical or bacterial materials. Those were developed by the parties to the Iran Iraqi war by the nations involved. It is easy to make them. Remember Chemical Ali?
Most governments are dead set against the proliferation of this type of weapon. They may have made them, but they didn't share them.

The Hajj took place this months. Now I just wonder how many west Africans went to Mecca, and did they inadvertently take the Ebola virus with them? I guess in three or four weeks we will know.
